KOUSBA EL KOURA — In what scholars are calling the most significant academic event since UKEK's own founding, the University Kousba el Koura has officially granted accreditation to Harvard University of Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States of America.

The decision was announced by Prof. Blanco, UKEK President and Co-Founder, following an exhaustive review process that lasted approximately 45 minutes — 30 of which were spent debating where to eat afterward.

"We've been watching Harvard for some time," Prof. Blanco stated in a press conference held at Capri Restaurant (main campus). "They show promise. Their campus is... adequate. They have buildings, which is more than we can say for most of our facilities. After careful deliberation — and an excellent fattoush — we've decided they meet the minimum standards required for UKEK accreditation."

"Harvard has demonstrated a basic understanding of higher education. They have a library with more than 4 books, which already puts them ahead of our own Grand Library. We found this impressive, if a bit excessive." — Prof. Blanco, UKEK President, speaking from the corner table at Capri

The Review Process

The accreditation review was conducted by the UKEK Board of Academic Standards, a committee whose membership is identical to the entire UKEK faculty and student body — all 7 of them.

The evaluation criteria, developed over the course of a single WhatsApp voice note by Researcher Revilo, included the following:

  • Does the institution exist? (Yes — verified via Google Maps)
  • Does it have students? (Reportedly yes, though none were interviewed)
  • Does it offer a Man2oushe Sciences program? (No — a significant gap, noted with concern)
  • Has the institution produced any groundbreaking gravity research on mountain roads? (No evidence found)
  • Does it have a Toilet of Enlightenment? (Unclear — further investigation needed)
  • Has it been endorsed by Nasso? (Nasso shrugged, which was interpreted as approval)

Despite failing 4 out of 6 criteria, Harvard was granted provisional accreditation on the basis that, and we quote the official committee minutes, "they seem like they're trying their best."

Harvard's Response

At the time of publication, Harvard University has not responded to UKEK's accreditation. Multiple emails were sent to their admissions office, their president's office, and a random professor whose email was found on a 2019 research paper about soil composition.

"We interpret their silence as profound gratitude," said Dr. BlueDacia69, UKEK's Head of the Faculty of Medicine. "When you receive an honor of this magnitude, words fail. They're probably still processing the news. Give them time — not everyone operates at UKEK speed."

Jarhead, Head of Physical Education, offered a more direct assessment: "Harvard's campus looks like it has decent gym facilities. That alone justifies the accreditation in my view. I didn't evaluate anything else."

Conditions & Recommendations

The accreditation, while granted, comes with several conditions that Harvard must address within the next 300 years:

  1. Establish a Man2oushe Sciences Department. The absence of any formal man2oushe research program was described by the committee as "frankly disturbing for an institution of their supposed caliber."
  2. Designate an official Toilet of Enlightenment. Harvard has thousands of restrooms. Surely one of them can be consecrated for academic purposes.
  3. Introduce a PhD in Bad Decisions After 11 PM. The committee noted that Harvard students almost certainly have the practical experience. They just need to formalize it.
  4. Reduce their library. Harvard's library system contains over 17 million volumes. The committee found this "unnecessarily aggressive" and recommended downsizing to a more reasonable number, such as 5.
  5. Add a GGGaming VIP Section on campus. No serious academic institution should be without one. Claydou7 has offered consulting services.
"Look, Harvard is fine. It's a fine school. But let's be honest — do they have Nasso? No. Do they have a parking lot that fits exactly 5 specific cars? No. Do they have a faculty member whose Warzone revive stats qualify him as a medical professional? Absolutely not. They have room to grow." — Aybe, Adjunct Professor of Tactical Studies, who was not asked for comment but provided one anyway

What This Means for UKEK

UKEK's accreditation of Harvard marks the university's first foray into international academic governance. Prof. Blanco confirmed that UKEK is now considering accrediting additional institutions, with MIT, Oxford, and Haigazian University reportedly "under observation."

"We're not going to rush this," Blanco cautioned. "Accrediting Harvard was a big step. We need to make sure we maintain our standards. Not every university can meet the bar we've set. We'll take it one institution at a time. Probably over dinner."

Researcher Revilo was unavailable for comment, as he was conducting gravity research on the Cazdoura bypass at the time of publication.
